We often say that at any given BOC event, everyone is a friend of a friend. That is not an exageration because you must be invited by an existing BOC member in order to ride with us. We're not trying to be exclusive - we just like it that way because riders treat each other with more respect on and off track knowing our actions have an impact on people we are connected to. After all, taking calculated risks is a big part of our sport.
Members must not only hold themselves accountable to BOC's rules as outlined during the rider's meeting, but they will be held accountable for each new member they have recently invited to an event.
After a new member has proven themselves to be a safe and courteous rider at a BOC event, they are then allowed to vouch for someone they know.
It's safe to say we park our egos when we go to the track because you don't bring home a trophy from a track day!
