OUR HISTORY
WHY CHOOSE BOC TRACK DAYS
It began in 2001, when track days were few and far between for B.C. riders who wanted to advance their skills on track. A group of friends decided to travel together all the way to California for Thunderhill Raceway to enjoy the experience of a bigger racetrack. It was there that the addiction was born. After attending countless track days at various tracks, the founders decided to create TeamBOC because they wanted to combine all the expertise they have gathered to provide the ultimate track day experience. Since its inception, our non-profit organization has become a tight-knit community of track day riders in B.C.
To us, the ultimate experience involves an 'open track' format where you get to
ride in any group as long as you ride observe the rules and speed of each group. When you can go on track any time you want, you spend less time stressing about maximizing your track time. Moreover, we sell less spots than most organizations per event so that
there's more room on track for everyone.
When it comes to safety, our riders' meetings are considered to be the most thorough and detail-oriented in the industry. Making sure all of our riders are clear about our rules and expectations could mean the difference when our sport comes down to mere inches and degrees. Lastly, our events are by invite only. In order to ride with us, you must be a member of TeamBOC.
